What is Transactional Email?

Transactional email is the email letter that you would send to your prospect after he turns into a buyer. In other words it closes the buying process. Transactional email letter contains purchase receipt due to the buyer. Through this email you would thank the prospect for buying your product or service. Any campaign would end successfully with a transactional email.

As an email marketer you would do well to include discount coupons for the buyer in the transactional email letter as well. These coupons can bring the buyer back again to your business website to make yet another purchase! This way you can build a strong relationship with your buyer.

As a matter of fact transactional emails have the innate power to produce repeat buyers! Personalization is the hallmark of a transactional email.
