What is Follow-up Email?

After sending your welcome email to your new subscriber you follow it up with polite words in the next email letter. This is called as follow-up email. You would do well to ask or request your new subscriber to take a tour of your business website. You make him feel free to ask you questions about your business products or services.

Make your new subscriber understand what your business actually does for its customers. Once the subscriber comes to know what your business actually offers for him or her, then he could turn out to be a new prospect or lead for you. Don't show any kind of sales intent in the follow-up email letter.

It is highly recommended that you invite the new subscriber for a discussion to know more about your business. This way you can keep their goodwill in tact.
